Accompanied with this dose of reality, my internship in NY has also revealed things about myself to myself:
I drink a cup of black coffee everyday. Can't be healthy.
I always pick lounging around and generally being lazy over going out and getting crunkkkkk. So antisocial.
I have relinquished control over my intern group project. Very surprising. Although this might influenced by the fact that I believe the project matters very little.
I tend to accidentally curse in front of my co-workers. Not so good.
I am kinda attracted to my married co-worker? Really not good.
On a completely unrelated note, I've just learned the word "meme" and have discovered many internet memes I'm completely behind in knowing about. My favorite so far:

ugh, don't remind all of us about the math that just won't add up correctly.
ReplyDeletewhat is a meme?
when i saw your picture, i immediately thought, GROSS, i hate how hobo-chic is considered to be fashionable.
but he IS hot. i'd do him.
oh, and you should be happy about the whole antisocial thing...i think it's a good measurement of maturity that you don't feel the need to live a life of debauchery. it's probably a result of having gotten all that stuff out of your system earlier in life (i.e., college). anyway, stop smoking...it'll be more economically prudent.
oh, and there are studies that show that a cup of black coffee actually has positive physiological effects. so don't worry about it...just start brewing your own to save money.
and finally...i would LOVE to know that i had a friend who was a homewrecker. lol.
they eventually found that brother sharp guy (via the "human search engine") and he turned out to be crazy - mentally ill or something.
ReplyDeletei know. poor guy, since they started parading him in front of crowds at fashion shows and such.
ReplyDeleteLisa, I agree with Anthony -- one cup of coffee every day is better for you in that it lessens your risk of both stroke and alzheimer's (but this coming from a friend who is as addicted to it as I am). And yeah, save your money and don't get crunk, esp. if that's what you feel like doing. As we get older I feel like it's easier to do things that we want to do irrespective of whether or not they're "antisocial."
ReplyDeleteAlso, they made him walk in fashion shows? That's kind of messed up.
